Ferrari’s 12Cilindri sparked debate the moment it launched. Some loved the Daytona-inspired throwback styling, others couldn’t get past that awkward black strip between the headlights. Novitec took it upon themselves to solve that problem, along with the car’s other major issue – a surprisingly muted exhaust note for a naturally aspirated V12 that revs to 9,500 rpm.
The German tuner’s comprehensive package addresses both complaints while also adding plenty of carbon fiber, a set of forged wheels, and a lowered stance. More importantly, Novitec confirmed that proper power upgrades for the 6.5-liter V12 are still in development, meaning this is just the beginning.

The Visual Fix Everyone Wanted
Novitec’s most significant contribution might be the simplest: painting that divisive black strip between the headlights in body color. And unsurprisingly, it has a huge impact. The front end looks much more cohesive instead of awkwardly segmented. Perhaps it’s something Ferrari should be offering from the factory?
Beyond fixing that styling quirk, Novitec adds functional carbon fiber components throughout. A front lip spoiler increases downforce across the front wheels for improved high-speed stability, while matching rear lip spoiler and diffuser balance the aerodynamics without overwhelming the 12Cilindri’s elegant proportions. Additional carbon pieces include hood air outlets, windshield panels, front fender vents, mirror covers, and side sills – all available in exposed carbon or painted finish.

The Exhaust That Should Have Been Standard
The bigger story might be Novitec’s high-performance exhaust system. Built from lightweight Inconel (the same alloy used in Formula 1), the system features active butterfly valves for adjustable sound management. Buyers can choose between subtle and sport modes, though with 819 horsepower and a 9,500 rpm redline, “subtle” is very much relative here.
For those who find exotic materials insufficient, Novitec offers the Inconel system with optional 999 fine gold plating for improved heat dissipation and maximum visual drama. The system includes high-flow catalytic converters and four 112x100mm tailpipes that Novitec claims boost performance, though specific numbers haven’t been released yet.

Wheels and Stance
Developed in partnership with Vossen, Novitec offers three forged wheel designs in staggered fitment: 21×10 front and 22×12 rear. The NF11 five-spoke design shown here features delicate spokes extending to the outer edge with a stylized centerlock appearance, available in numerous finishes including the black shown here.
Novitec wraps the wheels in 275/35 ZR21 front and 325/30 ZR22 rear tires, paired with sport springs that drop ride height approximately 30mm (1.2 inches). The lowered stance tightens handling dynamics while emphasizing the 12Cilindri’s wedge shape, though comfort takes a predictable hit on rough surfaces.

Power Upgrades Coming
While the exhaust represents the only current powertrain modification, Novitec confirmed its engineers are developing proper performance upgrades for the 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12. The stock engine produces 819 horsepower at 9,250 rpm and 500 lb-ft of torque at 7,250 rpm – which are already impressive figures, but Novitec has a history of extracting meaningful gains from Ferrari V12s.
Those familiar with Novitec’s work know to expect the eventual N-Largo widebody treatment. The company added 5.5 inches of width to the 812 Superfast, and something similarly aggressive will almost certainly arrive for the 12Cilindri once development is complete.

Unfortunately, Novitec hasn’t released pricing for individual components or complete packages yet. Most modifications can be purchased separately, but it’s always worth mentioning that installing aftermarket parts voids Ferrari’s factory warranty.
