Founded in 2016 by husband and wife team Max and Erica Droog, Droog Moto is an award-winning custom motorcycle shop best known for its signature post-apocalyptic streetfighter-meets-tracker style. Thus far, Droog has produced its bikes on a one-off basis with each unit ordered and custom-configured by a client, however, the world-renowned bike builder has now joined forces with fledgling electric powersports firm Volcon to deliver a limited edition version of the Volcon Brat that features Droog’s unmistakable hallmark styling.

Constructed around the Volcon Brat’s Exo-Arch chassis, this Droog-designed version of the e-bike sports a slew of the custom moto shop’s signature design cues including an ultra-stubby front fender, 1 1/8” MX bars, and wheels fitted with aero disc covers and knobby tires. The Brat’s stock circular headlight assembly has also been jettisoned in favor of Droog’s signature tracker-inspired front number board — which conceals a hidden LED headlight from Diode Dynamics that peaks out from a series of diagonal slash cuts. Droog’s ultra-boxy gas tank design has also been incorporated into the Brat — albeit just as a stylized cover that now adorns the frame’s top tube. Also included in the transformation is a custom suede seat and a bespoke rack that also serves as a side cover.

Still meeting the classifications of a Class 2 E-Bike, the Droog-ified version of the Brat maintains the normal model’s specs, with the same 750-watt motor, 28-mph top speed, 70-mile range, and 86-pound curb weight. With that said, the Droog-spec Brat does boast superior performance thanks to several up-specced pieces of componentry including new fully-adjustable suspension front and aft. What’s more, the Brat’s braking hardware has also been massively upgraded with wave rotors now bit by top-shelf Magura MT7 calipers that come mated to the brand’s MT7E master cylinders. The end result is not only a better-looking bike, but also one that stops and corners much more competently.

Made on a built-to-order basis, the Droog x Volcon Brat is available for order now with pricing set at $5,800 — a major bump over the Brat’s standard $2,799 MSRP, though an absolute steal for a Droog-designed motorcycle.
