Two years ago, Ram was busy apologizing for killing the Hemi. And, now the V8 is back, the Rumble Bee nameplate is back, and apparently the plan is to atone through sheer horsepower.
Direct Connection, Mopar’s factory speed shop, has just announced a full performance parts catalog for the 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee lineup, headlined by a supercharger kit that pushes the range-topper past 900 horsepower.
One Blower, Three Flavors of Absurd
The centerpiece is a 3.0-liter twin-screw supercharger paired with an oversized air-to-water intercooler and a high-capacity coolant pump – and it will be offered for every Hemi in the Rumble Bee family.
Bolt it to the base truck’s 5.7-liter V8 and the 395-horsepower starting point balloons past 600. The 6.4-liter Rumble Bee 392 clears 700. And the Hellcat-powered Rumble Bee SRT, which already makes a ridiculous 777 horsepower from the factory, swaps its stock 2.4-liter blower for the bigger unit and targets north of 900.
For reference, the stock SRT runs the quarter mile in 11.6 seconds. Nobody has clocked the supercharged version yet, and frankly, we’re anxious to find out.
The Warranty Is the Real Headline
Every kit stickers at $10,995 before installation, which sounds like a lot until you read the fine print. Have it installed by an ASE-certified Mopar technician, and Ram honors the truck’s full five-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty.
Aftermarket boost has always been risky because we all know dealers are happy to deny claims the moment they spot a non-stock blower. Ram is instead putting all of this in writing. Tim Kuniskis put it plainly, saying Direct Connection exists to give enthusiasts factory-backed support “most OEMs won’t touch.”
Rounding Out the Catalog
The blower isn’t the only update here either. There’s also Magnaflow cat-back exhausts with 5-inch black tips, and a Ridetech coilover kit that drops the coil-sprung Rumble Bee and 392 an inch up front and 3 inches out back with 24-way adjustable damping.
Color-keyed graphics packages complete the look. This includes gray for the 5.7, red for the 392, and of course, Rumble Bee Yellow for the SRT. Parts for the 5.7 will arrive in Q4 2026, with both the 392 and SRT hardware following in early 2027.
