When the Miura debuted in 1966, its transversely mounted V12 and ultra low silhouette pretty much wrote the supercar rulebook right there on the spot. And every mid-engined Lamborghini flagship since, from the Countach through the Aventador, has been living in its shadow.
Now, with the icon’s 60th birthday upon us, Sant’Agata is celebrating the only way it knows how. Meet the Revuelto Miura 60° Homage, a 99-unit special edition of the brand’s V12 hybrid flagship.
Paint It Like It’s 1966
Lamborghini pulled this exact move in 2016, when 50 Aventador Miura Homages marked the 50th anniversary. The playbook hasn’t changed much, and honestly, it didn’t really need to.
Buyers choose from nine exterior colors lifted straight from the Miura’s original palette, including Rosso Arancio, Verde Scandal, and Blu Tahiti. The real throwback is the two-tone treatment, echoing the contrasting lower bodywork that defined so many originals: either Oro Elios with shiny gold wheels, or Grigio Nimbus with matte titanium ones.
A Miura 60 emblem sits on the side sill, and the rear Lamborghini badge goes gloss black, just like grandpa’s.
Cannelloni Is Back on the Menu
Inside, the seats reinterpret the original Miura’s famous “cannelloni” upholstery, that ribbed pasta-tube pattern collectors go weak for. Leather spreads across the tunnel, doors, and rear bulkhead, where “Miura 60” embroidery sits between the seats above a carbon plaque reading “Serie Speciale 1 di 99.”
But here’s the detail we love most. If you already own a vintage Miura wearing a factory color outside those nine, Ad Personam will recreate your car’s exact original combination, letting the two form a matched pair 60 years apart.
Untouched Where It Counts
Mechanically, Lamborghini changed absolutely nothing. The naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 and its trio of electric motors still churn out a ridiculous 1,015 CV (roughly 1,001 horsepower) and 807 Nm of torque.
That’s good for 62 mph in 2.5 seconds and a top speed north of 217 mph. The original Miura topped out around 180, and in 1966 that made it the fastest thing on the road.
