Continuing to pave the way for the battery-powered revolution, the Swedish marque has just announced the specs and features for the upcoming 2024 model of the Polestar 2, with single-motor and dual-motor variants available. With rear-wheel drive, the single-motor version sports a new 82kWh motor capable of a 300-mile range and boasts 299hp (bumped up from 231hp), 361lb.ft of torque (up from 243lb.ft), and a 0 to 60 time of 5.9 seconds.

On the other hand, with a 270-mile range, the dual-motor vehicle bolsters the performance from 408hp to 421hp and 467lb.ft to 546lb.ft of torque, as well as a 0 to 60 time of 4.3 seconds. First featured in the Polestar 3, SmartZone restructure the vehicle’s active safety features with a front-facing camera and mid-range radar. Also now standard are the Driver Awareness features and wireless phone charging.

Despite its improved impact of 5.9 tons, the 2024 Polestar 2 still guarantees better performance overall. Expect to deliver later this year, the vehicle’s price will start at €50,190 (~$54,631).
