Back in July, just before the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Ford revealed a lifted, camo-wrapped Mustang Mach-E with special wheels, embedded fog lights, a small rear wing, and a number of other rally-inspired elements. Interestingly, the Blue Oval also revealed that the so-called Mustang Mach-E Rally wasn’t merely a one-off concept built for Goodwood, and was in fact a new trim level that would be available for purchase within less than a year. Just a few short months later and Michigan marque has now fully-revealed the production-ready version of the rally-cross-ready all-electric SUV in the form of the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E Rally.

The Mustang Mach-E Rally features a raised MagneRide suspension setup with specialty tuned springs, MagneRide shocks, and a 20mm factory lift kit. Riding on Oxford White 19” rally aero-inspired wheels that come shod in Michelin CrossClimate2 tires, the crossover model sports flared fenders that open up space for its increased suspension travel and new rims. The new off-road-capable model also gets a redesigned front fascia that now houses a pair of rally-inspired fog lights and a Focus RS-inspired rear wing. Other additions include protective underbody shielding for the EV’s front and rear motors, front Brembo brakes with red-painted calipers, a removable cover hiding a recovery point, and a protective film that fortifies the fender flares and doors.

Powering the Mustang Mach-E Rally is a modified version of the powertrain found in the Mustang Mach-E GT — a dual-motor setup that Ford expects to put down around 480hp and 650ft-lbs of torque. The Mach-E Rally’s Lithium-ion battery pack offers a range of around 250 miles, plus can receive a 10% to 80% recharge in under 37 minutes when using a DC Fast Charger. The interior of the vehicle also boasts white accented performance upholstery trimming the seating, dash, and steering wheel. Ford BlueCruise hands-free highway driving technology is also included. Offered in Grabber Yellow, Grabber Blue, Shadow Black, or Eruption Green livery options, every Rally-spec Mustang Mach-E also comes adorned in a pair of racing stripes. To ensure the new Mustang Mach-E variant would actually be able to handle off-road and all-terrain travel, Ford developed an all-new purpose-built rally course at its Michigan Proving Ground where the Mach-E Rally was put through over 500 miles of simulated rally-cross trials and testing.

The 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E Rally will be available for purchase in Q1 of next year, with deliveries slated to commence shortly after. And while official pricing has yet to be revealed, Ford has cited an estimated MSRP of around $65,000. Interested parties can sign up to receive updates on the company’s site.
