Toyota’s motorsport division Gazoo Racing is a key player when it comes to turning base models into beastly hot rods. In the spring of 2020, we saw the manufacturer release the GR Supra GT4 based on the production model, capturing the curves of the body while beefing it up on the inside and adding a pronounced aero kit. Since then, they have now made a hundred of these bad boys. In celebration of that milestone, they’re releasing a hundred road-going Supra models and three limited edition GT4 racecars exclusive to Japan, with a plasma orange paint job to boot.

The celebration begins on the inside of the GR Supra Plasma Orange 100 Edition with black leather and Alcantara. Based on the RZ trim, the road-going edition will only be available with an eight-speed automatic transmission and as previously mentioned, will only be available in Japan. It will include distinct front bodywork, a special carbon fiber badge denoting the unit number, and black-painted forged aluminum wheels. Built to GT4 spec, the GR Supra GT4 EVO will have three models also featuring the unique plasma orange paint job, front bodywork, and a special badge with the car’s serial number on it.

Over the last two years, the Supra GT4 has entered 317 races, claimed 79 class victories, 207 podium events, and a collective 20 wins around the globe. It’s safe to say whoever gets their hands on one of these, racer or not, will be getting a winner on and off the track.

Gazoo Racing is holding a lottery from May 8th to June 4th for people interested and capable of entering through their garage stores in Japan. Pricing for the 2023 Toyota GR Supra Plasma Orange 100 Edition starts at ¥7,600,000 (~ $55,700), while the price for track-only GT4-spec has not been revealed yet.
