First introduced by the Ford Motor Company in 1999, the Super Duty is a series of ultra-capable, heavy-duty pickups that are engineered specifically for work, hauling, and job-site duties. And, while the last two decades have seen Ford set the full-size work truck bar incredibly high with the last several generations of the Super Duty, the company has now pulled the cover off of what’s undoubtedly its most capable and well-appointed range to date with the freshly-unveiled 2023 F-Series Super Duty lineup.

Available in F-250, F-350, and F-450 models and also offered with the optional Tremor package, the latest F-Series Super Duty lineup boasts a suite of impressive tech and the workhorse capabilities one would expect from a Super Duty-badged pickup. It doesn’t end there, however, as the truck also sports best-in-class power, best-in-class payload, and best-in-class towing for every trailer type. In addition to an 8,000lb payload, this also includes best maximum available gooseneck towing of 40,000lbs, plus best maximum available 5th wheel towing at 35,000lbs, and best-in-class maximum available conventional towing at 30,000lbs.

The 2023 F-Series Super Duty range will be available with four different powertrain options in the form of a 405-hp 6.8-liter V8 with 445ft-lbs of torque, a best-in-class 430-hp 7.3-liter V8 cranking out 485ft-lbs, a 475-hp 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 diesel making 1,050ft-lbs, and a high-output version of that same 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 diesel that generates 500hp and 1,200ft-lbs of torque — both of which are best-in-class figures. The newest Super Duty lineup isn’t all brawn, no brain, either, with the truck brimming with modern technology and features such as a 360-degree trailer camera package, onboard scales, class-exclusive embedded standard 5G Wi-Fi, Ford Power Up over-the-air updates, and connectivity to Ford Pro software like Ford Pro Telematics.

Made in America by the Blue Oval’s Avon Lake, Ohio and Louisville, Kentucky facilities, the 2023 Ford F-Series Super Duty range will be available for purchase starting in the Spring of 2023, with pricing beginning at $43,970 — plus a $1,795 destination and delivery fee.
