Built atop Ford’s rugged SuperCab 4×4 platform using the pickups V8 engine and 10-speed SelectShift transmission, the 2023 RexRover features a custom fiberglass shell that accommodates a 10′ flush-mount electric awning, spare all-terrain wheels and tires, a roof-access ladder, and a 50″ Double LED Light bar supplemented via LED side and rear POD lights. A lift kit, custom steel bumpers fore and aft, dual front tow hooks, and an integrated winch round up the off-road amenities that come standard on the new RexRover. In addition to its impressive go-anywhere capabilities, a major part of what makes this luxury turnkey overlander so special is undoubtedly what’s happening on the inside.
Aiming to deliver all the comforts of home from practically anywhere, the cabin of this luxury off-road camper boasts a king size bed at the top, plus a queen size conversion dinette table, ultra-resistant weatherproof flooring, a sliding countertop extension for food prep, and LED ceiling lights throughout. Fitted with extruded aluminum cabinetry, the vehicle’s kitchen comes loaded with a double burner induction cooktop, a microwave, a full-size sink, a washing machine, and a coffee machine. The rig’s plumbing setup is also of note, as it features an onboard water heater, a wet bath shower unit and cassette toilet, a heated auxiliary outdoor shower, an exterior access cassette toilet, and a 40-gallon fresh water tank paired with a 40-gallon gray water tank with an exterior switch-activated release valve.
