MV Agusta’s current flagship model, the Brutale 1000 represents the world’s fastest and most powerful naked motorcycle, with a more than 186mph top speed and an output of 208hp in a roughly 400lb (dry) package. With its world-class performance capabilities and suite of race-derived components, the Brutale 1K’s natural environment is undoubtedly the track. As a result, the Varese marque is now leaning into this characteristic of its 998cc hyperbike via the debut of an even more high-performance and top-shelf version of its naked literbike with the MV Agusta Brutale 1000 Nürburgring.
The aim of the Brutale 1000 Nürburgring was to bolster the flagship bike’s performance through significant weight reductions to the base model. This was achieved through the implementation of a new set of carbon fiber wheels with billet hubs that were designed specifically for the Nürburgring-spec Brutale in collaboration with BST. In addition to a unique silver, black, and red livery with Nürburgring logos, this limited edition model also sports an all-new carbon headlight cowl that generates additional downforce for the bike’s front-end. Developed alongside the actual Nürburgring track organization, the bike also retains all of the top-shelf features present on the base model Brutale including Continental’s state-of-the-art MK100 ABS system, aerodynamic winglet-style radiator guards, Brembo Stylema brakes, and an ultra-advanced CrMo Steel tubular trellis frame paired with an aluminum alloy swing-arm, an Öhlins Nix EC USD fork, and the Swedish suspension specialist’s TTX mono-shock.
Limited to only 150 units worldwide, the 2022 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 Nürburgring is currently available for order with an approximately $46,000 MSRP. Each unit is also sold with a track-only race kit that includes a WSBK-derived four-into-one full titanium Arrow race exhaust system, a race-spec ECU, and a mono-posto tail cowl.
