Since it inception in 2009, Moose Knuckles has been on a mission to deliver ultra-robust, rugged, and luxurious takes on winter jackets and clothing staples, and the Canadian label is now continuing that tradition with the release of its latest cold-weather coat, the Valleyfield Jacket.
Engineered specifically to take on the otherworldly temperatures of the Canadian North, the Valleyfield Jacket is the latest addition to Moose Knuckles’ Nyluxe collection and features an advanced knit polyurethane-infused nylon blend shell that’s breathable, DWR-finished, bestowed with a modern multi-way stretch, and fortified via a wind-resistant outer shell. Inside, the jacket’s hardwearing shell contains RDS-certified genuine goose down with a 775 fill power that earns the Valleyfield an impressive Level 4 cold protection rating. Boasting an extended back length (of 33″ in size medium), this decidedly premium winter jacket also sports a stand collar, a detachable wool felt-trim hood with an adjustable bungee, two-way YKK zippers, chest and side-entry welted pockets supplemented via a pair of zipper-secured interior pockets, a hidden snap placket, and Velcro-secured rib-knit storm cuffs. In typical Moose Knuckles’ fashion, the Valleyfield also features metal logos, Grosgrain trim along the front zipper and chest pockets, and the company’s signature-branded trim.
Available now in sizes S through XXL, the Moose Knuckles Valleyfield Jacket is priced at $1,095. The jacket does sport a slim fit, so the manufacturer recommends going a size up if you plan on layering items beneath the Valleyfield.
