Last summer, LOKI Expedition unveiled what was easily one of the most luxurious and well-appointed four-season slide-in pickup campers that we’d ever seen with its then-all-new Falcon Series. Only 18 months later, and the company has now rolled out an even more impressive luxury slide-in with the new and improved — and markedly longer — Falcon X-Series Camper.
Built atop the chassis of a Ram 5500 or Ford F-550 Super Duty, the Falcon X-Series is offered in 8’ and 15’ habitats that feature bigger water tanks and batteries, and additional sleeping quarters over its regular Falcon Series predecessor — while still maintaining its ability to take on the coldest winter conditions or the hottest desert locales. Manufactured right here in North America, the entire rig rides on a Liquid Spring Smart Suspension System that monitors speed, steering, braking, and road inputs 1,000 times every second in order to constantly optimize ride quality and handling characteristics.
Boasting nearly double the length of the first Falcon Series, the interior of the X-Series comes loaded with heavy-duty insulation, a UV water purifier, indoor and outdoor kitchens, a roof hatch, room to accommodate up to six adults, an optional drop-down bed, dimmable LED lighting, heated floors, a multimedia monitor on a pivoting arm, light wood cabinets and furnishings, a closed bathroom and shower, and all-weather double-glazed windows with an inventive built-in pressure system. The camper’s electrical system also features an available 900-Ah Lithium-ion battery bank, a 4,000-watt inverter and charger, and up to 1,420 watts of solar power. The outside of the Falcon X-Series also sports a slew of off-roading bits such as a multipurpose rail system, an onboard air compressor, a recovery kit, Baja Designs LED auxiliary lights, aluminum brush guards, fender flares and custom liners, a 360-degree camera system, and custom steel bumpers fore and aft.
Available for order now requiring only a $5,000 deposit, the LOKI Expedition Falcon X-Series Camper starts at $560,000 (including the Ram 5500 or Ford F550 donor truck).
