Over the last decade, so-called “fast fashion” has absolutely flooded the menswear market, with trendy-looking, low-quality garments that are only designed to be worn for, at most, a season or two before winding up in the bin. Unhappy with the impact fast fashion has had on the segment, Huckberry has joined forces with Taylor Stitch to buck the trend and deliver a western-style clothing collaboration with a major focus on indigo washes and built-to-last constructions.

Christened the Huckberry x Taylor Stitch Indigo Collection, this three-item capsule is comprised of two shirts and a trucker jacket — all of which are crafted entirely from pure organic cotton denim. Penned with classic western styling, the shirts feature a double-needle chain stitch fell along the side seam, a single-needle French fell at the armholes, genuine YKK Western snaps with antique brass settings, a set of vintage western-wear-inspired slanted snap chest pockets, and bar-tack reinforcements on the top of the pocket flap, top pocket corners, and side gusset. Alongside the special HB x TS version of the long-sleeve Western Shirt, the collection also features a limited-edition, Huckberry-exclusive short sleeve version of Taylor Stitch’s popular Western Shirt.

Anchoring the collection is the Huckberry x Taylor Stitch Long Haul 18-Month Wash Jacket. This updated and modernized take on a traditional trucker jacket has been bestowed with a midweight natural selvage denim that’s undergone an 18-month indigo wash. Alongside being equipped with Taylor Stitch’s signature rounded chest pockets — which are specifically designed to accommodate the wearer’s smartphone, wallet, and other EDC — this jacket also features zig-zag reinforcement stitching at the collar and front placket, welt handwarmer pockets, and custom antique copper YKK donut buttons and rivets. And while all three items are comfortable and soft-to-the-touch right off the rack, each garment only becomes softer and cozier as they’re broken in over time.

Available now exclusively through Huckberry, the HB x Taylor Stitch Indigo Collection starts at $125 for the short-sleeve Western Roped Indigo Shirt and the long-sleeve Western Indigo Shirt, and goes up to $198 for the Huckberry x Taylor Stitch Long Haul 18-Month Wash Jacket.

Purchase: $125+
