Victorinox began producing Alox Limited Edition pocket knife collections since 2015, with each yeaer seeing the Swiss brand deliver a trio of limited edition knives that feature Alox aluminum handle scales adorned in a special colorway. With a renewed sense of optimism brought on by the effects of a recent global pandemic now largely being in the rearview mirror, Victorinox has not only opted to continue this annual tradition for 2023, but has selected a bright and optimistic hue for the Alox Limited Edition 2023 Collection in the form of electric yellow.
Victorinox Classic SD Alox Limited Edition 2023
The first of the three items that comprised this collection is the Victorinox Classic SD Alox Limited Edition 2023. Measuring just 2.3” L x 0.2” H, this five-function Swiss Army Knife gains a special embossed set of aluminum handles that have been anodized in electric yellow before being decorated via a mini “2023” plaque. This 0.6-ounce also comes sold in a special gift and presentation box.
Victorinox Pioneer X Alox Limited Edition 2023
Also included in the collection for this year is Victorinox’s Pioneer X Alox Limited Edition 2023. This pocketable powerhouse spans just 3.7” in length and tips the scales at only 3.3oz, all while packing a whopping nine tools and functions, making it an exceptionally utilitarian piece of everyday carry gear. Like the Alox LE 2023 Classic SD, the Pioneer X model also sees its standard handle-set jettisoned in favor of an embossed waffle-pattern pair of electric yellow-anodized aluminum scales.
Victorinox Hunter Pro Alox Limited Edition 2023
Like the 2021 and 2022 Alox Limited Edition lineups, the 2023 iteration is anchored by Victorinox’s folding Hunter Pro model. This Swiss-made pocket knife gains the same embossed, textured electric yellow-anodized scales as the Classic SD and Pioneer X, though is also sold with a matching electric yellow accent lanyard. Aside from the change to the handle, this 5.4-inch folder otherwise goes unchanged.
