It seems as though every shoemaker in their right mind is adding a Vibram outsole to their kicks, and there’s no better time to do so than this time of year. Moreover, Under Armour released its latest pair of speed running shoes highlighted by the durable rubber compound.

Sitting atop a LiteBase outsole, the sleek UA HOVR silhouette paves the way for smooth transitions, maximum grip, and a lack of debris when taking on the trails. Best of all, this is bolstered by the brand’s patented HOVR cushioning, which lessens abrasion impact and provides a very impressive energy return, providing you with a much-needed boost. In addition to the grippy outsole, the new silhouette is highlighted by an Ortholite sockliner crafted from recycled materials, deeming it environmentally conscious and (presumably) orthopedic-approved, accounting for the additional comfort it promotes.

As far as its upper half is concerned, the shoe’s reinforced composition remains ideal for rugged terrain thanks to its remarkably lightweight feel and seamless wearability. Additionally, the shoe boasts a set of strategically-placed 3D overlays for enhanced security, keeping your foot in place mid-workout. Lastly, the breathable kicks even have an open-cell tongue design for enhanced airflow.
