If you love Leatherman’s multi-tools but wish you could do without certain features like the awl or scissors, the Skeletool CX is for you. Packing 7 useful features in a 5-ounce stainless steel frame that stretches just 4” when closed, the unit has the ability to disappear in your pocket but be a total game-changer when you need it.
While multi-tools often have steel blades, the one built into the Skeletool performs like an actual knife. Made from 154CM stainless steel, the 2.6-inch straight-edge blade gives you excellent toughness, 58-60 HRC hardness, corrosion resistance, and can even sharpen easily. This blade will be in your arsenal for a long, long time.
Along with the knife, the Skeletool CX comes with a pair of needlenose pliers, regular pliers, wire cutters, hard-wire cutters, and a large bit driver. You also get Phillips #1 & #2 bits and Screwdriver 1/4″ & 3/16″ bits included. With these, you’ll have the most essential tools at the ready without anything extra. If it’s too big for your pocket, you can latch it onto your belt or bag with the built-in carabiner, which doubles as a bottle opener.
