Leatherman’s ARC Packs 20 Tools and a MagnaCut Blade Into One Rugged Package

Leatherman ARC 00 Hero

Presented by

It goes without saying that Leatherman is the de facto king of the multi-tool category. First opening its doors over 40 years ago after its founder Tim Leatherman found himself without a reliable set of pocket pliers to aid him on a budget vacation, the Oregon-based brand has now grown significantly with a range that tackles every type of handyman and adventurer across the board. And while the Wave is considered their most popular unit, we’re also partial to the ARC multi-tool, simply for how much it can do.

Packing a whopping 20 tools into an 8.6-ounce frame stretching just 4.25” when closed, the ARC makes no concessions. Housed in a 420 stainless steel frame, available in two different colorways including the Talos you see here, the multi-tool’s marquee feature is its top-shelf MagnaCut steel blade that offers 60-63 HRC hardness for superior edge retention and rust resistance. Like a pocket knife, the blade locks securely but opens smoothly (even with gloves) with Leatherman’s FREE technology.

Aside from the blade, the ARC also includes both needlenose and regular pliers, a diamond-coated file and wood/metal file, large and small bit drivers, a pry tool, wire and hard-wire cutters, a large screwdriver, spring-action scissors, an awl, a can opener, a bottle opener, a saw, a wire stripper, an electrical crimper, an edge file, and an impact surface. Like the blade, the deployable tools also lock into place. Plus, they’re all designed for outdoor use, along with the strong Cerakote-finished handle.

This is Leatherman’s most advanced multi-tool available, in terms of premium materials and versatility. Whether you’re headed on your next off-grid camping trip or need a do-it-all for around the house, the ARC is built for the job.

Priced at $250, the ARC multi-tool is available now from Leatherman’s website.
