Adventure is always out there, but in order to enjoy it properly, you need the right tools for the job. Huckberry has been providing outdoor explorers with durable, stylish, and forward-thinking clothing and gear for over a decade now, and the label’s collaborations with other outdoor-friendly brands are always a treat. Mystery Ranch specializes in rugged packs that are quite popular with the armed forces, and first collaborated with Huckberry back in 2020 on the hybrid 40L bag. Three whole years later, the duo is back with the Huckberry X Mystery Ranch Greenbelt Hybrid Backpack, a hybrid bag with ‘90s style, durable construction, and much more.
This hybrid pack has a 30L capacity and is built to go with you anywhere, whether it be the office or the mountains. The ripstop fabric and nylon material are finished with a water-resistant coating to protect your gear from unforgiving weather, with easy access provided by the U-zip-style opening. For those of you carrying devices, the bag comes with plenty of compartments, including a padded laptop sleeve, an exterior pocket, and an interior sleeve for smaller devices like a tablet. Other hiking bag essentials like bottom buckles, a chest strap, and reflective material are here as well, with grab handles featured on top and the sides for more carrying options.
As for the material blend, the pack is made of 70% NP 320 Slub Kobra C0 DWR UTS1000mm, 30% 830D Jr. ballistic matte with carbonate coating, and 10% nylon stretch woven fabric. The design certainly evokes feelings of ‘90s nostalgia (the Hunter Orange sells it), but the rugged construction and durability we’ve come to expect from Mystery Ranch make this a home run.
The Huckberry x Mystery Ranch Greenbelt Hybrid Backpack is available now for $249 in the Hunter Orange/Black/Ranger colorway exclusively on Huckberry’s website.
