When former Green Beret Jason McCarthy began GORUCK in 2008, he knew that he wanted to make reliable equipment that people could trust with their lives. And the American equipment label has gone on to do just that, specializing in rugged rucksacks and community. The rucksacks were designed with those used by the U.S. Special Forces in mind, making for certifiably durable packs. These rucksacks, among GORUCK’s other offerings like the weight vests and boots, are put to the test during the GORUCK challenges, an intense set of training classes that are also inspired by the Special Forces. In celebration of a similar challenge (namely the Murph Challenge, which started in 2005 in honor of late Navy SEAL Michael Murphy) and Memorial Day, Huckberry and GORUCK have teamed up on some limited edition equipment with the Huckberry x GORUCK Memorial Day Weight Vest, featuring an exclusive camo colorway.

After two years in the making, Huckberry and GORUCK have brought us a new version of GORUCKS’s Training Weight Vest, now with a WWII-inspired frogskin camo colorway. Making a return appearance is the supremely soft 210D HT Cordura interior that’s so comfortable you won’t even need a shirt. The dual-density strap adds to the comfort with an ergonomic design, and the 500D Cordura material on the outside will stand up to the toughest conditions. It has universal plate compatibility which allows you to utilize GORUCKS Standard Ruck Plates, along with other plates of your choosing, kept securely in place by a velcro closure made with 1050 ballistic nylon.

10% of the profits from this vest will be donated to Folds of Honor, a non-profit organization that provides families of injured and late military members, along with first responders, scholarships and educational opportunities.

The Huckberry x GORUCK Memorial Day Weight Vest is available now for $195; only for a limited time, however, with 300 available including GORUCK’s Scars Lifetime Guarantee.
