Invented in the 19th century, denim pants have become a staple of both American work wear and everyday style. And while the culture seems to be shifting towards more comfort-first casual attire, jeans still hold a special place in our wardrobe. To celebrate these rugged yet fashionable trousers, we’ve put together an EDC loadout that will go perfectly with your favorite pair of stonewashed jeans.

Leatherman Blazer

Ubiquitous multi-tool stalwart Leatherman recently debuted its first collection of premium, USA-made knives. Among the five-knife set is the Blazer, a folding knife that benefits from a 3.15-inch drop-point blade made from CPM MagnaCut steel for versatility and precision. Unlike most folders that use anywhere from 20 to 35 components, the Blazer uses just 12, adding to the minimalism provided by the sleek handle, which comes in Alpine, raw steel, or the Denim colorway you see here. Most notably, Leatherman employs its new patent-pending Compression Wedge Lock, an incredibly simple mechanism that keeps the knife secure.
Traveler’s Company Traveler’s Notebook Blue

Passing down your pocket notebook to your grandchildren might be difficult, especially if the pages are all filled up. But the Traveler’s Company’s passport-size Traveler’s Notebook allows you to swap out the paper stock when you’re done, giving you never-ending use and offering up a true heirloom product. Handmade from vintage-style cow hide leather, the artisanal cover stretches 5.2” x 3.8” and can adjust the size of the refill with a connecting band. To start you off, the notebook comes saddle-stitched with Designphil paper from Japan.
Kaweco AL SPORT Stonewashed Ballpoint Pen Blue

Writing utensils don’t have to be cumbersome. Take the AL SPORT ballpoint from Kaweco for example. Measuring just over 4” in length and weighing a smidge under 1oz, the miniature pen hides perfectly in your pocket but feels surprisingly sturdy when you take it out to jot down ideas when inspiration strikes. The aluminum shell also has a geometric shape like a pencil, making it ergonomic in your hand. The AL SPORT comes in several variants but we especially love the faded effect of this faded denim-like blue option.
Nomos Club Sport neomatik 42 date blue

Nomos always showcases its adroit use of color with its watches. Case in point, this denim blue dial version of the German watchmaker’s Club Sport neomatik adds a dose of playfulness to its sophisticated style. But of course, this watch is superb regardless of how visually stunning it is. Housed in a 42mm stainless steel case, the sports watch gives you an impressive 300m of water resistance but still keeps things low-profile with a 10.2mm thickness. Versatility is key here. You get amazing wrist presence without the bulk, plus a high-polish steel bracelet as well. Visible through the exhibition caseback, the in-house DUW 6101 automatic movement features the brand’s patented SWING escapement technology and 42 hours of power reserve for good measure.
