Helinox collaborations aren’t exactly rare, but the outdoor gear brand’s latest campsite-approved joint effort with Carhartt WIP is one of the most notable collections the South Korean outfitter has put forth in recent memory.
There is a trio of redesigned pieces in this woodsy capsule: the Sunset Chair, Tactical Field Office, and Royal Box Shade, each of which has been coated in Carhartt’s signature Camo Tide motif. Starting with the ultra-portable Sunset Chair, it’s held up by a lightweight set of aluminum alloy poles and crafted from polyester. For added comfort and convenience, the chair even features a pillow holder and a pair of side pockets to stow your gear.
Next up is the Tactical Field Office, a handy piece of equipment that operates as a packable workspace you can easily transport anywhere you need to be. The modular table also stands on a set of aluminum alloy poles, making it remarkably lightweight and easy to pack into the accompanying 15-liter cargo bag. Lastly, no campout would be complete without some trusty sun protection, and the polyester ripstop-constructed Royal Box Shade delivers. It offers SPF 50+ sun coverage and even comes rounded with retractable side panels, allowing you to block UV rays while taking in a summer breeze.
If you’re planning on reaching the campsite in style this summer, then you can never go wrong with Carhartt WIP. The famed sublabel’s collaboration with Helinox is available on the former’s site now, with pieces priced from $285.
