Nike has reached a point in its lineage where even our dads look back fondly on his vintage sneakers and running shoes. But time after time, the athletic juggernaut has proven just how well it’s evolved with the times — but not without remembering the tech-forward mindset and design ethos it’s had from the start. This year, we’ve assembled our favorite pieces from Nike’s current catalog to help you with your Father’s Day shopping.
Article Overview
Nike Unlimited Men’s Dri-FIT 5″ Unlined Seersucker Versatile Shorts

With summer approaching fast, your dad will likely be looking to add a new pair of shorts to his permanent rotation. These 5” Unlined Seersucker bottoms are perfect for running and training with Nike’s own cotton blend with Dri-FIT tech designed to move sweat and moisture away from your skin. Available in four versatile colorways, this is an incredibly lightweight option and has is built with deep front pockets and a zippered back pocket big enough for your phone.
Nike V5 RNR

We’ve really been on a V5 RNR kick as of late, from its solid training shoe credentials to its array of drool-worthy colorways that maximize the layered mesh-leather upper materials the best way possible. Built with a foam midsole that can keep you going when your feet are ready to throw in the towel, the running shoes have already been drawing comparisons to the Vomero 5, but with a tad lower price tag. Either way, Dad will love the nostalgia evoked by these Y2K-inspired sneakers.
Nike 24.7 ImpossiblySoft Men’s Dri-FIT 1/2-Zip Top

Who says Nike can’t be minimalistic? With hardly a Swoosh in sight, the brand’s ImpossiblySoft ½-zip sweatshirt is designed for all-day wear, but isn’t too heavy to keep in your car on moderate days. The namesake double-knit fabric combines polyester (51%), modal (25%), cotton (15%), and spandex (9%) for an incredibly comfortable feel against the skin, with sweat-wicking Dri-FIT tech. Whether you’re moving about town or sprinting on the treadmill, the raglan sleeves and articulate elbow are very welcomed, as are the zippered pockets so you can stow your gear without worrying about losing them.
Nike Echo Shield Sunglasses

Nike does far more than just sneakers and athletic wear. Case in point, the Echo Shield sunglasses are a hot commodity right now, and sold out in some colorways. Nevertheless, the wrap-around shades offer the same form-meets-performance approach as most of the brand’s products. Maximizing coverage, the lightweight yet durable metal frame sports a minimalist top bar design affixed to a single-piece of mirrored lens. Best of all, the adjustable nose pads and flexible rubber temple tips give you customization in your fit.
Nike ACG “DAYMAX” Duffel Bag

Since launching in 1989, Nike’s outdoor-focused ACG brand has shown what’s possible when you approach utilitarian items with an eye for style. Case in point, the “DAYMAX” Duffel is just the latest in ACG’s growing lineup of bags and backpacks. Sporting a water-resistant bottom, the polyester-built bag is perfect for the gym rat or the day hiker, with a storm flap on top for extra coverage. Holding 60L of gear inside with mesh pockets, the duffel has plenty of room on the outside as well with its array of zippered pockets and even a separate pocket for shoes that’s easy to clean.
Nike Air Jordan 14 G Golf Shoes

Father’s Day might be synonymous with a round of golf for some families. If so, get your dad one of the most stylish golf shoes around. Putting a spin on the Air Jordan 14s, Nike has held onto what made these sneakers so dominant on the court while making them go-tos for the links. Air Zoom units are still inside the forefoot and heel for cushioning, while a special memory foam insole has been added to help Dad reach the end of the 18th, and then some. There’s also soft foam around the collar for extra support. Of course, these wouldn’t be golf shoes without its seven spikes, which are removable. Meanwhile, a secondary traction inspired by the OG AJ14 is sticky enough to help you grip the fairway in any condition.
Nike x Hyperice Hyperboot

Nike and Hyperice made a big announcement last summer that they were collaborating on a recovery boot to end all recovery boots. What set these apart were the fact that you could actually walk in them. While they debuted exclusively on the feet of Olympic athletes, Nike decided to now release them to the public. Utilizing tech from Hyperice, the Hyperboot combines Dynamic Air Compression and HyperHeat to drive heat into the body more efficiently than ever — and you can use them individually or together with on-board controls at the heel. Availability has fluctuated but the Hyperboot has just been restocked in all sizes just before Father’s Day. If you’re looking to spend a bit more this year, these are an excellent choice.
