As fall arrives, we might be tempted to remain indoors more and more. But with all the latest innovations in outdoor gear, why not push ourselves further and farther? That’s Nike’s idea behind their outdoor-focused ACG sub-label. An acronym for “All Conditions Gear,” the line was launched in 1989 and has since become a bellwether for stylish trail-focused items, from footwear to jackets to everything in between. This month, we’ve highlighted the best gear from Nike’s ACG store to get you through the season.

Nike Dri-FIT Club Unstructured ACG Cap

Not enough hikers wear hats on their trail excursions. To make it more enticing, Nike also happens to have some of the most stylish caps on the market. Built with a six-panel design, this unstructured ACG hat is built with Nike’s sweat-wicking Dri-FIT fabric made from 100% nylon, currently available in black or brown. The AeroBill has also been designed for all-day comfort, which is perfect for hikes but also makes this transition well off the trail too.

Nike ACG Men’s Max90 T-Shirt

As the temperature dips lower in the coming months, a heavyweight tee is crucial to staying warmer on the trail without overheating. With almost a retro ACG aesthetic, this Max90 T-Shirt is a great choice. Not only do you get one of the best implementations of the ACG branding with that rear logo but you’ll benefit from a durable yet soft fabric made from polyester (67%) and cotton (33%) with its sweat-wicking properties.

Nike ACG Rufus College Grey

After a decade-long absence from the catalog, Nike finally revived its underrated, outdoor-focused Rufus slipper last year, and we’ve been blessed with a few classy colorways so far. Dressed in the College Grey uppers you see above, these are arguably the most streetwear-friendly variant we’ve seen so far, yet still highly suited for the campsite. Made with a rugged textile upper material and a comfy foam midsole, the slip-ons are grounded with a Soft Pearl white sole with grippy rubber underneath that’ll get you from town to trail with ease.

Nike ACG “Wolf Tree” Plus Fleece Pants

Rugged trousers might be optimal for the outdoors, but every now and then, a pair of sweatpants might just do the trick, especially if you’re sticking around the campsite more than you expected. Unfortunately, there aren’t enough solid sweats made for the occasion. Enter Nike’s “Wolf Tree” Plus Fleece Pants, tested in central Oregon’s Smith Rock and built with the kind of comfort you won’t always find with outdoor-focused pants. Built for a roomy fit, the black-and-blue Polartec polyester shell is very warm and reinforced with water-resistant panels, including on the rear.

Nike ACG “Smith Summit” Men’s UV Jacket

We’ve been loving Nike ACG’s “Smith Summit” collection, which is available in pants, cargo shorts, and the UV Jacket you see here. Sporting brilliant use of color, blending browns with cream, this is one of the most stylish outdoor coats we’ve seen. Built with two cargo-style pockets in front, the jacket can hold you phone, keys, wallet, and whatever else you need with you on the trail. The midweight nylon shell (96%) features a dash of Spandex for stretch and is constructed with UV-resistant and water-repellant finishes so you’ll find yourself protected in any weather. Meanwhile, the mesh back panel ensures you don’t overheat on your hike.
