It’s easy to take our wallets for granted. We cram them full of our most important cards (and even some less important ones) and shove them in our pockets until we need them. But if you’ve ever gone to pay for something and been a bit self-conscious about the state of said wallet, then you might be due for an upgrade. The folks at Aviator Wallet understand this, which is why they created their Evermade Unique Pieces label, a sub-brand that specializes in truly bespoke card holders. Among its most exclusive is the Titanium Hive wallet, which is limited to just 24 examples worldwide (no, that’s not a typo).
Evermade’s Titanium Hive wallet is much more than the exclusivity of its production — although that part is pretty special too — but about owning a wallet so meticulously crafted that it demands that level of exclusivity. Made entirely in Germany at Aviator’s Bavarian manufactory, the wallet is crafted from Grade 1 titanium, meaning it’s a 99.9% pure composition of the metal. Most titanium you’ll see in the EDC space is a Grade 5 alloy also made of other components as well. Aviator chose Grade 1 titanium not only for its purity but because it gives the wallet a much higher level of surface polish, which isn’t possible with Grade 5 alloy.
After 6 hours of CNC machining and a whopping 64 hours of finishing using multiple refinement techniques, the Titanium Hive is complete. Immediately catching your eye with its stunning titanium aesthetic and attractive hive pattern, the wallet features nearly 27ft of total engraving. Each piece is also engraved with its own individual serial number.
Functionally, the Titanium Hive also benefits from the lightweight property of the metal and also its resistance to corrosion and pressure. Incredibly slim, the wallet can still hold up to 20 cards securely, accessed easily via the brand’s innovative pull-strap system. There’s also a coin compartment (also made of a solid block of titanium) that can hold other flat things like a key or some folded bills.
Again, Evermade’s Titanium Hive is limited to just 24 pieces worldwide, so it won’t come cheap. Priced at $2,950, the wallet is currently available now through Aviator Wallet’s website.
