Based in Loegstrup, Denmark, Jesper Voxnaes is one of the most eminent knife designers working today, with a more-than-quarter-century of experience penning blades for big-name knifemakers like GiantMouse, Fox, MKM, CRKT, and Boker, just to name a few. So when leading online retailer BladeHQ recently decided to produce its own range of top-shelf knives, it opted to call on the famed Danish designer to deliver the ultimate EDC blade, giving way to the BladeHQ x Jesper Voxnaes Titanium Dapper Knife.
Made in Italy, the Dapper was designed with a spare-no-expense approach, and as such is comprised of some of the finest materials that money can buy. This means a 2.375″ (0.14” thick) Lanny-inspired clip point blade with a stonewashed finish that’s crafted from Böhler M390 steel — arguably the most premium blade steel on the planet — and mated to a pair of contoured gray titanium handles set over a liner lock-equipped stainless steel frame. A groove in the scales affords easy access to the knife’s locking mechanism while also allowing for convenient two-handed opening, though the Dapper also comes outfitted with a knurled flipper tab for effortless one-handed opening. Tipping the scales at only 3.22oz, the titanium-spec Dapper Knife has also been treated to a bronze-anodized titanium backspacer and a reversible, tip-up wire pocket clip. The end result is an immensely attractive yet thoroughly utilitarian folding knife that’s absolutely perfect for everyday carry.
Available now exclusively through the online knife retailer, the BladeHQ x Jesper Voxnaes Titanium Dapper Knife is priced at $200. The Dapper Knife is also offered in a handful of other model variants including forged carbon fiber and G10-handled versions, as well as options with black PVD-coated blades.
