Known for their extreme durability and performance, Benchmade’s folding knives are among the most popular and revered worldwide. Models such as the Bugout and the Griptilian have helped make the Oregon-based brand a household name in the EDC space. Today, it adds a new name to its substantial oeuvre of slip joints.

The 317 Weekender is a knife/multitool built from the same expertise as Benchmade’s best sellers. Equipped with a blade on either end and a bottle opener along the handle, the Weekender promises to be everything you’ll need for your next outdoor excursion, whether you’re whittling wood, deboning a fish, or cracking open a cold IPA. Housing the clip-point main blade and a smaller drop-point, the 4.08”-long Micarta handle comes in a gray OD finish with orange aluminum decorative pivot rings.

Made from CPM-S30V stainless steel and 0.09” thick, the main blade is stonewash finished and measures just under 3”, while the smaller satin-finished blade measures just under 2”. What’s more, this knife/multi-tool is one of the lighter EDC options out there at only 2.28oz in total weight. Crafted for urban use as well, the Weekender can be utilized around the house or at work for more mundane yet necessary utility such as opening boxes or cutting zip-ties.

If you’ve wanted to get yourself a multi-blade knife but didn’t like any of the more cumbersome choices on the market, grab yourself this super lightweight and reliable knife from an industry favorite. Benchmade’s 317 Weekender is available now on BladeHQ for $225.
