Founded in 2017, Yakoda Supply is a Colorado-based company that trades in rugged yet minimalistic gear and bags that are unequivocally built to last. And while the Boulder brand’s wares are technically designed for fly fishing, their immensely durable nature and equally robust weatherproofing make them just as conducive to camping, days at the beach, or practically any other off-grid adventure. Case in point, Yakoda’s redesigned Gear Transport 2.0 bag, an ultra-hardwearing, oversized carry-all that can stand up to just about anything nature can throw at it.
Offering a generous 95-liters of internal storage space, the Gear Transport 2.0 is extremely lightweight, tipping the scales at less than 2lbs. The bag still manages to be ridiculously durable, however, thanks to a primary upper construction consisting of X-Pac sailcloth — a waterproof and UV-resistant four-layer laminate with remarkable ripstop qualities. The upper X-Pac portion of the bag is mated to a bottom that’s crafted from the brand’s Yakoda River Pro material which is a polyurethane-coated and DWR-treated 500 denier fabric. On top of a removable changing pad, the second iteration of the Gear Transport also features a carrying handle that’s made from 10.7mm Sterling climbing rope and is sold with a pair of custom Yakoda-branded square carabiners that can be used to secure the bag’s opening or to mount additional gear. Measuring 21.5″ x 16″ x 17″, each bag is also printed, stitched, and assembled by hand at Yakoda’s headquarters in Colorado.
Available in Mountain Multicam, Black Multicam, or Black, Yakoda Supply’s Gear Transport 2.0 is available now through Huckberry, with pricing set at just $199. Yakoda also thoroughly stands behind all of its products, including the second-gen Gear Transport, and will replace or repair any component that fails from regular wear and tear, practically guaranteeing a full lifetime of use.
