Uniqlo U has proven to be one of the Japanese label’s most coveted seasonal collections, and its latest for the spring and summer features some of the most stylish essentials you can pick up this time of year without breaking the bank. And of the new collection, one of the most standout pieces has got to be the Oversized Hooded Blouson.
The newly-released garment is composed of nothing but incredibly lightweight compact cotton, and it’s guaranteed to take on those sporadic springtime showers. Thanks to its flexible trim and pack-away hood, UNIQLO’s new release is fit for any scenario, allowing you to store the hood into the blouson’s collar with ease. Serving as a versatile piece to also get through the tail-end of winter, you can pop the hood up when necessary.
In addition to its elemental protection, the blouson also comes equipped with a pair of vents in the front and back. These unique elements assist in letting fresh air circulate in and out of the jacket whenever you’re trying to avoid the rain. This piece, like the rest of the Uniqlo U collection, was designed by the brand’s Paris Research and Development Center, led by none other than French designer Christophe Lemaire.
