With how consumer-focused the world has gotten over the last few decades, it’s easy to understand why people view much of everyday carry gear as disposable and replaceable. After all, that’s kind of how we’ve come to think of everything nowadays. From low-budget products like toothbrushes and socks to big-ticket purchases like smart televisions and even automobiles, it seems like everything outlasts its usefulness in a matter of years at most.
