adidas’ Golf line has long been one of its most innovative spaces, with the previously released ZG21 silhouette being one of its most impressive, performance-tailored kicks in recent memory. Now, the three stripes have bolstered the shoe entirely upon unveiling the ZG23 lineup, which aims to deliver improved stability and comfort from heel to toe in various iterations.
The lightweight steppers sit atop a newly-designed midsole that fuses the world-famous activewear label’s Lightstrike technologies, namely Lightstrike Pro, which delivers optimized cushioning while keeping things remarkably lightweight. As we work our way up, the ZG23’s upper is constructed using microfiber leather and even boasts a three-dimensional stability wing and trusty BOA Fit System to help enhance stability mid-swing. As mentioned, there are several new silhouettes in this line, with the BOA-equipped option being separate from the standard pair.
As far as the interior goes, adidas’ latest features an INSITE sockliner, assuring nothing short of sustainability and ergonomics. Of course, this wouldn’t be a proper pair of golf shoes without a highly-capable outsole, which is where the silhouette’s six-cleat Thintech compound comes into play. While this is identical to the sole on the ZG21, it paves the way for a much more secure, grounded feeling that should still provide all-day energy and the extra on-field boost you need to win. Best of all, the ZG23s serve as adidas’ latest showcase of striving for sustainability, using at least 50% recycled materials to construct this new release.
adidas Golf’s ZG23 lineup will be fully available starting March 3. Prices will range between $200 and $250, with the BOA-fitted option listed at $220.
