Since its inception in 2015, Vagabund Moto has quickly become one of the world’s most eminent custom motorcycle shops, with ultra-clean one-off two-wheeled designs that boast an unmistakable factory-level finish. And while the Austrian outfit built its name and reputation on the strength of its motorcycles, Vagabund has more recently been branching out into the world of custom cars, first with a bespoke Lada Niva 4×4 and then with a BMW 850i, before following it up with an off-road safari kit for the Porsche 924 / 944.

Christened the “Daily 911,” the Graz-based garage’s most recent automotive endeavor sees it apply its signature brand of customization to Porsche’s legendary 911. Starting with a 1980 911 SC 3.0, the aim of the project was to deliver a modernized take on the Super Carrera that allows it to better perform as a practical daily driver, while also bolstering the classic car’s appearance. Now riding on a refurbished, blacked-out set of Fuchs wheels, the exterior of the car has been bestowed with new taillights, a bespoke roof rack accommodating gear cases that are secured via Off-White tie-down straps, and a custom black-on-black livery that’s juxtaposed via yellow Vagabund branding and the shop’s signature coordinates graphic.

The cabin of the Super Carrera has been treated to an equally involved yet understated transformation that includes custom black leather upholstery that’s accented via gray houndstooth inserts, a black shift knob, and a blacked-out three-spoke MOMO Performance Prototipo steering wheel. The now-pristine 911 specimen has also received a mechanical overhaul comprised of a refreshed transmission, revised brakes, all-new oil, filters, and lines, a renewed ignition system, manifold studs, and rear coupling rods, and a high-performance SSI Sport exhaust system.

Showing 185,000km (115,000 miles) on the odo, the 1989 Porsche 911 SC 3.0 “Daily 911” By Vagabund Moto is available now at the company’s headquarters in Austria, with an asking price of €66,990 (~$72,875).
