Zoku Loft Micro Apartments

There seems to be a new trend of going smaller. Our cell phones are getting smaller, our cars are getting smaller, and now our apartments are getting smarter. The Zoku Loft is a new living concept that aims to fuel that trend.

The Zoku Loft comes in at just 258 square feet, and is designed as a living space you can work in (or a working space you can live in, if you prefer). It’s intended for global nomads who want a temporary living solution for somewhere between five days and several months. Each space includes several space-saving features like a retractable staircase and hide-away storage areas. Somehow, it’s outfitted with a king size bed, a spacious shower and a fully equipped kitchen. These micro hotel-like units will be available this fall in the heart of Amsterdam’s eastern Canal District, with more locations being planned.
