French watchmaker Yema unveiled their first in-house GMT movement last spring with the Caliber YEMA3000. The 28,800-bph movement debuted in the Superman Worldtime GMT, and while that is certainly a nice watch, its fauxtina maxi dial isn’t for everyone. But now Yema has launched the Superman Heritage GMT with the Caliber YEMA3000, and it looks like it may be the vintage-style GMT watch of our dreams.
Like its popular dive watch cousin, the Superman Heritage GMT sports a double-domed box sapphire crystal, a universal 39mm case size, 300m water resistance, and regular-sized markers without a drop of fauxtina in sight. The watch also boasts an old-school aluminum bezel with Yema’s trademark bezel-lock, and it comes in two variants: Batman-like blue and gray, and the real star of the show, a Pepsi version. Yema previously had a limited-edition Pepsi bezel Superman Heritage GMT back in 2019, but they went fast and had no in-house movement. The new in-house caliber version is a permanent member of the brand’s collection, meaning more enthusiasts will be able to get their hands on this new and improved retro beauty. The Yema Superman Heritage GMT is available for pre-order now for $1,190.
