The Kingston Customs Yard Built XV9650 is an original take on the Sport Heritage motorcycle, and perfectly exemplifies how to use the XV950 as a base to create something that looks totally unique without having to cut or weld the frame. Thanks to Yamaha’s Yard Built program returning to Germany, we’re now able to feast our eyes on one incredibly well-designed custom XV9650.

Many of its part were custom built in-house, such as the transparent ‘The Face’ style air filter cover and the custom hand stitched cafe racer seat. The foot peg bracket, speedometer bracket, foot brake lever, gear-shift and unique MX Vistor screen were all designed and crafted by Kingston Customs. The bike also includes quality aftermarket custom parts such as LSL Handlebars, Motogadget Indicators, and genuine Yamaha YZ/WR footpegs. The end result is a classic-looking design which has a cool paint job familiar to Yamaha enthusiasts. [Via]
