Headed up by Luca Pozzato, Officine GPDesign is an Italian custom motorcycle shop that’s renowned for delivering ultra-clean world-class one-off bikes that boast a distinctive and unparalleled factory finish that’s typically reserved for high-dollar production models. These qualities have made the Turin-based customs outfit a popular choice for manufacturers and aftermarket companies looking to commission official factory-backed builds — the latest of which sees Yamaha’s Yard Built program tap Officine GPDesign for an absolutely stunning take on a custom XSR700.
Dubbed “The Bull,” the modern-retro moto retains the general silhouette of the donor machine, though has been gifted a new tank cover, tail section, and side covers that are all custom crafted from marbled carbon fiber. Marbled carbon was also utilized for the project’s meshed intake covers and the heat shields used on the XSR’s full custom HP Corse dual under-tail exhausts setup. Finishing touches include an angular and idiosyncratic high-mount custom front fender, beefy modern tubeless spoked wheels, a stacked lightbar-style LED headlight, upgraded suspension with an inverted front-end, and a partial rear-wheel cover.
