Yamaha Niken Three-Wheeler
Like something out of a science fiction movie, Yamaha’s newest release during this year’s Tokyo Motor Show is certainly one of a kind. In fact, it’s unlike any three-wheeler we’ve ever seen before. It’s dubbed the Yamaha Niken, and it’s a freakishly futuristic beast that has yet to be tamed.
At the helm of this large displacement Leaning Multi-Wheeler is a liquid-cooled in-line 3-cylinder engine and proprietary Yamaha technology to reduce the effects of changing road conditions and environments – thus delivering an adrenaline-fueled level of stability when cornering those hairpin turns. It’s no secret this ride’s been outfitted for the sporty rider boasting the ability to carve magnificently through s-turns, mountain highways, or whatever windy roads you may encounter. Clearly, the front-end suspension mechanisms here are unprecedented, and what we do know is that the Niken will ride atop 15-inch front wheels with two dual-tube upside-down forks to create that sporty look and feel. Full info will be made available on November 6th when it’s officially unveiled.
