Before anyone gets up in arms, we’re not here to talk about the merits of gun ownership versus those of gun control; it’s a debate in which we’d rather not embroil ourselves. We can, however, objectively take a look at new technology and recognize sound innovation. And that’s exactly what we’ve found in F&D Defense’s new XAR Invicta Folding Automatic Rifle – brilliance in mechanical engineering.
Based on the popular AR15/5.56 platform, the XAR Invicta offers an as-of-yet unheard of level of ease in regards to deployment and takedown. And that’s because this one doesn’t have any loose parts in its construction. That’s right, it’s a one-piece folding barrel rifle. Sure, that’s not a new innovation to guns in general – but it is new to this platform, especially when you consider the level of precision-engineering that went into this particular firearm. Not only does it assemble and collapse in a manner of seconds, but it also maintains zero – delivering accuracy and reliability through repeated and constant usage. That’s impressive no matter on which side of the debate you stand. The XAR Invicta is set to be released sometime this summer.
