World Leaders In Hipster Form by Amit Shimoni

How would history have been different if John F. Kennedy were a hipster? Well for one thing, White House dinners would’ve featured a lot more craft beers and heirloom tomatoes, but… while we don’t know what would’ve happened, we do know how JFK and other famous leaders would’ve looked, thanks to some great illustrations by Amit Shimoni.

The Hipstory collection features a host of politicians and revolutionaries reimagined as retro fashion-wearing hipsters. There’s Nelson Mandela with a Hawaiian print shirt high-top fade, Abraham Lincoln with a burgundy blazer, and earring, Winston Churchill in crazy suspenders and a striped shirt, Mahatma Gandhi in tie-dye with some John Lennon-style shades, Che Guevara with an Adidas beanie, and more. They all go great with a PBR, by the way.
