Woolrich and their Japanese partners-in-crime, Goldwin, have had a handful of chance encounters in the past. For the fall/winter 2020 season, however, the pair are coming together for a more involved collaboration, consolidating the duo’s “Outdoor Label” with new fleece, parka, padded shirt, and bag offerings.
The formidable FW20 capsule is slated to feature a handful of technical offerings from the brands, including a suite of shirts crated from abrasion-resistant Cebonner nylon, jackets imbued with Gore-Tex Shakedry technology, and parkas, complete with recycled “Green Is Good” down. Elaborating on Goldwin’s 80s- and 90s-inspired influence, these color-blocked garments are perfect for a day at the trail, or a trounce within the urban environment, thanks to their unique, hybridized architecture, straddling the line between functional outdoor gear and common, every-day essentials. Head over to Woolrich’s website to see the collection in all of its glory; and while you’re there, pick up one of your favorite pieces for $57 and up.
