Woodford Reserve Unveils A Limited Edition Bourbon In A Crystal Decanter

Though the modern Woodford Reserve brand was established until 1996, the company has quickly grown into one of the most respected distilleries in Kentucky. And while Woodford Reserve already offers a thoroughly elite product, the Woodford County bourbon purveyor is now offering customers an even more exclusive bottle with the all-new Woodford Reserve Baccarat Edition.

Starting with Woodford Reserve’s already stellar Kentucky bourbon, this limited edition offering has been aged for an extra three-years inside of French XO cognac casks, affording it a unique balance of notes of French and American oak, with a complex fruity character, and what’s described as a “creamy confectionary finish.” Each bottle comes sold inside of a special crystal decanter produced by Baccarat, a Paris-based market-leading designer and manufacturer of luxury crystal products that dates all the way back to 1764. Each decanter also requires a full five days to manufacture from start to finish. Available now, the Woodford Reserve Baccarat Edition is priced at $2,300.
