Woodford Reserve Baccarat Edition Whiskey

With American whiskey continuing to push the envelope as demand grows, distillers are getting innovative in their ways of finishing and bottling the highly-sought spirit for devotees the world over. Case-in-point, Woodford Reserve’s Baccarat Edition — a Kentucky bourbon finished in XO cognac barrels.

This also marks the first time an American whiskey will be bottled in a Baccarat crystal decanter. Meaning, good old Kentucky bourbon is now entering the fray of collectible scotch whiskeys and fine cognacs. And speaking of such, the Parisian crystal maker designed a specially-made decanter bottle that will come in Baccarat’s iconic red box with display doors and a crystal stopper adorning Woodford’s initials. Not to mention the smooth dark-fruit finish each sip will savor on the palate. Available in May of 2019 at select Duty-Free stores.
