Winnebago Launches Its Most Affordable Camper Van, Dubbed The Solis Pocket

If there’s one thing everyone knows about RVs and camper vans, it’s that they’re outrageously expensive. Buying a new unit from a reputable brand that’s equipped with everything you need will almost always set you back over a hundred grand, but now one of the biggest players in the space is dipping their toe in the more affordable segment with the new Winnebago Solis Pocket.

The Solis Pocket is Winnebago’s most affordable camper van, with a starting price that clocks in at several thousand dollars below that six-figure threshold. And while it isn’t cheap by any means, it still represents a solid bargain for a brand-new Winnebago — especially when you consider what you’re actually getting for your money. Built on a Ram ProMaster foundation, the Solis Pocket has a versatile interior featuring an innovative dinette that converts to a sofa, daybed, or loveseat. The high platform Murphy+ bed has lots of storage underneath, with additional flexible storage provided by Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment (MOLLE) panels. There’s also a fully-equipped indoor/outdoor kitchen, a Truma VarioHeat system that makes the camper suitable for all seasons, and a convenient fillable/exchangeable LP cylinder. You can configure your own Solis Pocket now at Winnebago.
