It didn’t take long for Sony to build a real competitor for the immensely popular Go Pro. The brand has just unveiled their new Sony Action Cam, and this thing definitely gives the Go Pro a run for its money.

This ultra compact POV camera weighs an incredibly light 3 ounces, so you’ll hardly know it’s there. Don’t let the size and weight fool you though, this bad boy packs some amazing technology like a 16 megapixel Exmor R sensor, SteadyShot image stabilization, Full HD recording with 4x slow mode available at 720p, ultra-wide angle Carl Zeiss Tessar lens, and a whole lot more.  The Sony Action Cam is also built to venture into the deep blue sea, safe for nearly 200 feet of water. The Sony Action Cam will retail for $200, unless you want to pay an extra $70 for the Wi-Fi version. Purchase yours now from the Sony Store.
