Enough with the hoverboard concepts, this here is the real deal. Sure it’s not everything Marty McFly predicted for 2015, but it is here a year earlier than expected. Say hello to the world’s first Water Hoverboard.

With the summer season in full effect, this bad boy couldn’t have come at a better time. After creating his water jet pack dubbed the Flyboard, jet-ski champion Franky Zapata went back to the drawing board, and came up with exactly what you see here. The device is a wakeboard that has been outfitted with a high-powered water jet to help propel this thing up 16 feet in the air, at speeds of up 16 miles per hour. Users have the ability to perform all sorts aerial tricks, spins, and flips as they hover above the surface of the water. Watch the video below to see this thing in action. [Purchase]
