Walkera Voyager 4 Drone

Have you ever read about some great advance in technology that made you just as excited as it made you concerned? Walkera’s updated Voyager 4 is one of those things.

Essentially a 360 degree giant flying telephoto lens on a gimbal, this drone comes with a 16x optical zoom lens that can shoot high quality 1080p video. To give a little context for those who aren’t photo nerds, that means this drone can shoot an image from more than half a mile away. It gets better (or worse?). Due to the fact that both the drone and the controller use a 4G wireless connection, there is the possibility to operate this from across the world. All things said, this thing is pretty much the definition of ‘scary good’. Expect prices to end up north of the Voyager 3 sticker of $2,000. [Purchase]
