If you have ever tried to hang a large photo, anchor a bookcase, or nail pretty much anything into the wall, there was probably a point at which you stopped and said “I wish I could just see through the wall”. Well, in case you didn’t already know, we live in the future and looking through walls is something we can actually do thanks to the Walabot.

Not unlike a phone case, this device sticks onto the back of your Android device, and streams live readouts right to your screen. Just like using a stud-finder on steroids, all you have to do to use this device is simply place it against the wall and move it across until you find what you are looking for. With the ability to see up to 4 inches through any kind of wall, this thing can help you locate electrical wiring, wooden posts, plastic, and metal piping. Have a rodent problem? It can even detect moving objects like those mice you suspect are living in the walls. As if that all wasn’t enough, the Walabot will even display the depth of these different objects so you can plan your projects around them accordingly. Up your home-project game for $200. [Purchase]
