Ok. So, we know the season has only just started turning, but the release of the Wajer 55 by Sinot Yacht Design and Wajer Yachts already has us daydreaming about long, warm days on the water.
This thing is 52 feet of nothing but luxury, fun, and speed. Designed in collaboration with Sinot Yacht Design and equipped with three 435 horsepower IPS600 Volva Penta engines, it looks as nice as it is quick. And yes, it is speedy – like 28 knots cruising and 38 knots at a full sprint speedy. The boat can get up to those speeds due in part to the lightweight materials (including carbon fiber) used to build out the deep V-planning deadrise hull. For added convenience and ease of use, the 25 year old Danish family company made sure to equip their newest yacht with a number of smart features. Primary among which is the remotely inflating fenders and the concealed anchor that can be operated from the steering console. Of course, Wajer also made sure to allow for passengers to retire to a spacious hull to get out of the sun. If you don’t feel like heading below deck, however, you can just as easily flip up the fully automated sprayhood. All it’ll cost you to set sail with you and 15 of your friends this coming summer is around $1.8 million. [Purchase]
