Volvo P1800 ZES Concept
Volvo knows they are onto something with their recently unveiled Concept Coupe at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Designed to be a more modernized version of the classic P1800, the concept has inspired independent artists like Bo Zolland to create their own renditions as well.
The Volvo P1800 ZES is the Swedish designer’s shot at a new age version of the iconic 1960/70s era model. Keeping many of the aesthetic elements intact, the vintage inspired model seemingly takes design cues from the Aston Martin DB5, but with a more wagon inspired rear (think first generation BMW M Coupe). Modeled specifically after the sports estate version of the P1800, Zolland has outfitted his concept with modern headlights, new taillights, and a whole lot more. The retro inspired spoke wheels are the perfect finishing touch to this beauty.
