If Volvo’s recent rounds of concept models are indication of where the brand is heading – we are certainly excited to say the least. The Swedish auto maker unveils one of their more buzzed about offerings in the Volvo Concept Estate.
Automotive enthusiasts will instantly recognize the design cues taken from the iconic 1800 ES. Although it’s inspired by the model from the ’70s, it sees a handful of modern day updates. From the glass roof and floating grille to the gadget packed interior complete with massive tablet in the center dash, this thing looks like it’s ready to hit the production line for 2015. The contrasting orange seat belts twisting through the plaid driver and passenger seats are the perfect finishing touch. While that’s wishful thinking to assume this thing will ever hit your local dealer (let alone 2015), we commend Volvo on this design. Check out the video below.
