Volkswagen California Camper

The German auto makers at Volkswagen recently debuted their sixth-generation Transporter, and now the brand is back with another adventure mobile – the VW California Camper.

Built specifically for the outdoor recreation enthusiast, the bus offers up seating for seven people along with several beds to sleep up to 5, a pop-top (complete with LED lighting) for even more space, a dual-burner gas range, and a kitchen sink. The vehicle will be offered up in your choice of a TDI or TSI engine across three different lines dubbed the Beach, Coast and Ocean. There’s just one small problem (for stateside residents at least) – not only will the California not be offered in the Golden State, it won’t be offered in the United States what so ever. We’re hoping that VW plans on changing this in the near future.
